There's a new Admin Manager around Quality First's Sacramento office these days. Alicia V, moving up from her three-year tenure as Assistant Admin Manager, told us that she'll have been with Quality First for a total of eight years come April – already looking forward to the next few months.
She's all about crossing t's and dotting i's, overseeing and supervising. She also makes important phone calls to elderly customers per Quality First's internal policy, taking extra precautions to make sure everyone signing a contract is sound of mind.
Alicia refers to the admin team as "investigators," because if anything is wrong with contracts, they back up and look at the bigger picture to identify any problems. It really makes the job sound and feel more exciting!
It all makes sense, too, when you learn that Alicia studied criminal justice and psychology at Sac State, working towards the goal of being a forensic psychologist, much like one might see on Criminal Minds. When not presiding over the music democracy of the admin office, she can be found listening to podcasts about true crime or forensic anthropology.
We talked a little about how dedicated Quality First is to its employees – "[there are] a lot of success stories," she explained. "When you come to Evening of the Stars, people say 'they gave me the opportunity to thrive.'"
She also has fantastic taste in fiction, being fond of both fantasy and science fiction. She'd recommend a book series called "House of Night" about vampires. And yes, she's quite excited for Hocus Pocus 2.
